The EPP family will celebrate its 40th anniversary on the 30th of May in Luxembourg in the framework of the EPP Political Assembly. The event will feature top EU and non-EU leaders. You will be able to follow the live streaming of the event from the homepage of our website.

Hosted by our Luxembourgish founding member CSV, the celebrations will start at 17:00, after the first session of the EPP Political Assembly, in the hemicycle of the European Parliament in Luxembourg.

Some of our most prominent members will address the audience, including President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, President of the European Council Donald Tusk and his predecessor Herman Van Rompuy, Chairman of the EPP Group in the European Parliament Manfred Weber, as well as our host, President of CSV Marc Spautz.

EPP Heads of State and government, current and former members of the EPP Presidency, MEPs, representatives of our Member parties, Groups and Associations and many other high-level personalities will be invited. The Heads of State and Government and the Party Presidents will receive a personal invitation from President Daul.

The EPP is the largest and most influential European-level political party of the centre-right, which currently includes 75 member-parties from 40 countries, the Presidents of the European Commission and the European Council, 7 EU and 5 non-EU heads of state and government, 14 members of the European Commission and the largest Group in the European Parliament.
